Whom are we looking for? 
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager & Executive – Sales to join our company, responsible for nurturing and managing banking relationships in the North and South India region. The ideal candidate will possess a background in banking, particularly within the fintech or digital banking department. The candidate should demonstrate an understanding of banking technology and processes to effectively engage with clients and drive business growth. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct market analysis within the BFSI sector to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Own client relations and deliverables, overseeing development, delivery, and managing the P&L.
  • Maintain and build strong partnerships with stakeholders in the client’s organization.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in technology relevant to banking and NBFCs, with a focus on lending.
  • Forge strategic partnerships with industry influencers, associations, and key players to enhance business opportunities
  • Work closely with clients to understand unique requirements and collaborate with technology, product, compliance, people, marketing, and other teams both internal and external to ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Contribute to Proposal preparation, RFP completion, etc., required for Sales activities of the team.
  • Contribute marketing strategies to position the company as a leading provider of technology solutions for lending in the financial sector.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of Business Development experience in the BFSI/FinTech/Neo Banking/Agri Tech space, including working in a Business Development role for a B2B consumer. 
  • Previous experience in handling large multimillion-dollar client engagements in the BFSI Tech industry.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams with strong execution capabilities.
  • Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Exceptional ability to analyze market trends, competitors, and client behaviour.
  • Proven track record of maintaining strong client relationships and establishing industry partnerships.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines, multitask, and prioritize under pressure for all deliverables.
  • Highly motivated with deep industry expertise and the ability to adapt to a complex situation.
  • Proficiency in business supervision and capacity building.
