About the Role

We are hiring two Software Engineers for our Backend team. You will build platform services in Python — backend features across our engines, the core platform and client delivery.

Every piece of work you do is reviewed by a senior engineer. That is the point: we are hiring for how fast you improve, not for what you already know.

Backend features across the engines, core platform and client delivery.

Real work on the real product, with a senior engineer reviewing every change.

Fix and learn

Bug fixes and small enhancements are how you learn the codebase properly.

Write tests

Your own, from the start — it is not a separate phase here.

Grow into ownership

Own a module end to end within two to three quarters.

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of professional backend development.
  • Python to a genuinely working standard.
  • SQL and RDBMS basics; REST API concepts; pytest or any testing exposure.
  • BE, BTech, MCA or equivalent.
  • Git as a daily tool, including branching and pull requests.
  • The ability to pick up an unfamiliar codebase with guidance and not stall.
  • You take code-review feedback well. This matters more here than your current stack.
  • Clear communication — you can explain what you built and why.

What Would Be Great to Have

  • FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, pandas, Docker, any async experience.
  • A side project you can talk about in detail, including what you would now do differently.
  • Exposure to a second track — we rotate engineers across product, dashboards and client delivery.
  • Any AI-assisted development experience (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor).
  • Financial-services data exposure.
